SAP HANA Product Owner

Job Summary

The SAP HANA Product Owner is responsible for defining prioritizing and executing the product roadmap for HP's Contractual & Subscription Solutions platform. The role partners with business stakeholders architects engineering teams and enterprise system owners to deliver scalable subscription consumption-based and recurring revenue solutions using SAP HANA. The Product Owner serves as the primary bridge between business requirements and technical implementation ensuring solutions align with strategic objectives regulatory requirements customer expectations and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap Define and own the product vision strategy and multi-year roadmap. Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for process simplification automation and revenue growth. Prioritize product enhancements based on business value risk customer impact and technical feasibility. Drive innovation initiatives supporting subscription and consumption-based business models. Business & Stakeholder Management Collaborate with Finance Sales Operations IT Tax Compliance and external partners to gather requirements. Translate business needs into epics features user stories and acceptance criteria. Act as the voice of the customer and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. Lead requirement workshops design reviews and product demonstrations. Domain Ownership Own end-to-end capabilities across Subscription Order Management (SOM) Convergent Invoicing (CI) Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) Convergent Charging (CC) Convergent Mediation (CM) Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) Master Agreements and Provider Contracts Billing Invoicing Payments Collections and Dunning Agile Delivery Leadership Manage and prioritize the product backlog. Lead sprint planning backlog refinement and release planning activities. Define acceptance criteria and support UAT execution. Ensure delivery teams clearly understand business priorities and expected outcomes. Support release readiness and change management activities.

Required Qualifications

Education Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Computer Science Engineering Business Administration or related field. MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred. Experience 5+ years of Product Owner Product Manager Solution Owner or Business Process Owner experience. Strong experience in SAP HANA implementations and support environments. Experience managing global cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models. Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of SAP HANA SAP SOM SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI) SAP FI-CA SAP Convergent Charging (CC) SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) SAP RAR SAP S/4HANA integration APIs and integration architecture Knowledge of subscription and consumption-based billing models is highly desirable.
