Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the DevOps team supporting the project working within an Alibaba Cloud environment. The role focuses on enabling secure scalable and reliable platform operations through infrastructure automation CI/CD environment management and operational support. Working closely with engineering architecture and project stakeholders you will contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of DevOps practices helping ensure platform stability deployment efficiency and operational resilience across the project. Kindly note that this role supports remote work but only from within Ukraine.

Responsibilities

Use write and update reusable IaC in Terraform Administer and optimize Alibaba Cloud services such as Alibaba Cloud Web Apps Function Compute and Key Management Service (KMS) Manage and optimize Message Queue and Alibaba Cloud Logic Apps Use write and update Alibaba Cloud DevOps pipelines (mostly YAML pipelines) Monitor running environments in Alibaba Cloud and make adjustments when needed Take care of the releases (STG PRD) and improve the deployment process Act as a key contributor in the DevOps Chapter taking part in various initiatives presenting ideas and democratically voting on the implementation of new changes Troubleshoot and assist development teams

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer Experience working with Alibaba Cloud Experience with CI/CD using Alibaba Cloud DevOps Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code Familiarity with Terraform Proficiency in English at a B2+ level
