About the role The Commercial Category Lead is the end-to-end owner of one or more product categories — accountable for revenue margin inventory health and supplier performance from day one. This role combines commercial strategy with hands-on execution. You'll set the assortment direction manage pricing architecture with full P&L visibility drive demand planning and coordinate the supply chain to keep the right products available at the right cost. You'll also own channel performance across telesales marketplace and dropshipping — diagnosing what's working and fixing what isn't. What you will do Own Category GMV CM3 margin revenue and inventory health targets. Develop and execute category growth strategies to maximize sales profitability and market share. Manage pricing decisions including landed cost modeling competitive benchmarking and promotional planning. Own assortment planning and continuously optimize the product portfolio based on customer demand and market trends. Lead demand forecasting replenishment planning and dead stock management in collaboration with Supply Chain. Build and manage supplier relationships including sourcing negotiation onboarding and performance management. Monitor category performance analyze commercial KPIs and identify opportunities to improve revenue margins and operational efficiency. Partner with Marketing Operations Finance and Supply Chain teams to execute commercial initiatives and category plans. Own category performance across telesales marketplace and dropshipping channels driving continuous improvements. Prepare monthly commercial reviews forecasts and performance reports for leadership. Stay up to date with market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities. What Will Make You Successful Strong commercial and analytical thinking — you read a P&L and turn data into decisions Experience in category management e-commerce or supply chain in a fast-moving environment Skilled negotiator with suppliers and confident managing cross-functional stakeholders Comfortable with ambiguity and structured enough to drive clarity around you Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets familiarity with e-commerce metrics (GMV DR PPM CM3) Minimum 4 years of experience in e-commerce category management performance marketing or digital marketing within the Saudi Arabian market. Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing category growth strategies. Strong understanding of the market and consumer needs within the consumables category. Data-driven decision making Ability to analyze large data sets identify trends and translate insights into actionable strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Passion for online retail and a willingness to learn about new product categories Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to change.
