What you'll do We're looking for a Control Desk & Credit Associate based anywhere in Mexico to support and scale Clara’s credit operations. In this role you'll help execute high-precision processes—such as monitoring account behavior applying credit adjustments and analyzing financial data—that are critical to our operational integrity. As part of the Credit team you’ll work across departments to ensure our systems and decisions align with our growth goals and risk appetite. You'll need a balance of operational rigor responsiveness and independent problem-solving to succeed. Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus not a requirement. RESPONSIBILITIES: Review business loan applications evaluate credit rating and prepare loan recommendations to ascertain and mitigate credit risk. Analyse company documents including credit reports and other financial information to assign credit ratings based on internal scoring models. Collaborate with Sales Operations and Finance teams to establish efficient credit underwriting processes and workflows by keeping up with industry best practices. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3 years' work-related experience Ability to evaluate credit risk and interpret complex financial data and credit reports. Skilled in using internal scoring models to assign credit ratings. Proficient in analyzing financial statements company documents and understanding business operations to assess loan viability. Experience in preparing loan recommendations and optimizing portfolio performance while mitigating risk. Familiarity with credit assessment frameworks and policies.
