The Opportunity Within Aeroflow the software engineering team consists of 40+ software engineers organized into 5 key product delivery teams: Internal API React Adobe Commerce and Innovation. Our engineers work alongside our business stakeholders product owners technical leads and QA specialists to help facilitate quality products for the customers we service. For this role you will be joining our Engineering Innovation team. This team is a group of passionate technologists and innovators dedicated to building cutting-edge solutions using the latest in web development technologies including React Node.js AWS and microservices architecture. You will play a pivotal role in designing developing and deploying standalone services and microservices that will enhance our product offerings and improve patient experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life leveraging your expertise in React Node.js and microservices to build scalable and high-performance applications. Key objectives for this position include working with tech leads and product delivery teams to interpret business requirements from our internal stakeholders and utilizing their technical skillset to produce quality code during the implementation enhancement and support of engineering projects. Your Primary Responsibilities Design and Development: Architect design and implement standalone services and microservices using React and Node.js ensuring high performance scalability and maintainability. Microservices Architecture: Develop and maintain microservices that support the modular and flexible architecture of our applications. Innovation: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new features and improvements. Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders designers and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Code Quality: Write clean efficient and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Testing and Debugging: Develop unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of the applications. Debug and resolve issues as they arise. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Share knowledge and best practices with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Deployment: Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes. Ensure seamless deployment of services to production environments. Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the performance of deployed services and applications. Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal functionality. Compliance: Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality. Compliance with laws regulations and policies is a condition of employment and an element of job performance. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in fullstack development with strong proficiency in React TypeScript and Node.js. A college degree or diploma is a plus. Proven experience in designing and building robust fullstack applications. Deep understanding of microservice architecture specifically within a serverless context. Experience with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda SNS SQS DynamoDB S3 and CloudFront. Familiarity with infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK. Experience supporting maintaining and debugging applications in high volume production environments. Familiarity with project/issue management tools such as Jira and source control tools such as Git. Familiarity with the basics of system administration and network administration AWS experience will suffice. You Might Also Have Hands-on experience with Angular or Vue.js or similar frameworks.
