The Role: Intel 471 is looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our world-class team reporting to the VP of Engineering (Threat Hunting). The role can be located in the US on a remote basis. In this role you’ll leverage your frontend development experience to improve and expand our Threat Hunting platform. This role will focus on developing the user-facing Angular application with opportunities to work on the UI/UX/design the architectural aspects of developing and iterating on an enterprise SaaS single-page application as well as integrating the Threat Hunting platform with the next generation core Threat Intelligence platform. Prior experience working in or developing applications related to the cyber intelligence or broader cyber security fields will be considered a substantial advantage for success in this role but is not strictly required. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Building out whole new capabilities/features in the platform together with our UI/UX team and frontend engineers. Collaborating with backend/API engineers to design and develop the services supporting the user-facing frontend Angular application. Assisting in the design phase of feature development helping to shape requirements into deliverable implementations. Reviewing changes by other engineers impacting the platform providing guidance and ensuring alignment with the roadmap. Investigating escalated issues from customers and bug fixing. Researching and executing on integrating the current Threat Hunting platform with the future next generation Threat Intelligence platform. Education Experience & Qualifications: Demonstrable experience building production user-facing applications. Experience mentoring other engineers through code reviews and developing team standards and best practices. Experience working with single-page applications ideally Angular 15+ as well as supporting services like REST APIs authentication services etc. Familiarity with additional frontend technologies like React will be a distinct advantage.
