POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Pre-Sales Engineer will conduct all pre-sales activities to support the LATAM Region and will be based in Colombia or Mexico. Activities include but not limited to demonstrating the technical and business value of Securonix solutions to potential clients and partners. This position requires that the candidate be a security industry subject matter expert with an ability to clearly articulate SIEM UEBA and SOAR solutions to clients potential clients and partners. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  Use technical features to calculate and demonstrate business value. Assist Sales Executives to understand the business objectives of clients and articulate the value of the Securonix solutions. Conduct presentations at local/regional/national meetings and conferences to evangelize Securonix products and messaging. Support the business by training and enabling Securonix customers through workshops feature update sessions and other exercises. Quarterback the RFP response process and coordinate with proper internal resources to deliver effective and accurate responses. Manage POC project deliverables and timeline and shorten sales cycle when possible. Coordinate and request company resources for Proof of Value or other evaluations. Build win-win relationships with external customers as well as internal departments (Technical Account Management Service Delivery Architecture Product Management etc.). REQUIRED SKILLS: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Information Technology Industry. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer Solution Architect and/or client facing Cyber-Security Consultant. Successful track record of new business production in several industries and ability to exceed quotas. Excellent planning time management communication decision making presentation organization and interpersonal skills. Self-starter who will meet or exceed personal goals. Customer relationship building and account management skills. Technical understanding of cyber security products methods and technology trends in the current market. The Cybersecurity Sales Engineer – Operational Technology will directly support the pursuit of sales of novel cybersecurity products by providing technical expertise on cybersecurity solutions tailored for operational technology (OT) environments including industrial control systems (ICS). This includes assessing client requirements designing appropriate solutions implementing the product delivering technical presentations and demonstrations assisting in proposal development and ensuring alignment between customer needs and product capabilities. The role also involves close collaboration with product and engineering teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction within industrial and critical infrastructure sectors. Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions Design and present OT solution architectures that align with customer environments focusing on secure data flow system resilience and reduction of sensitive communication exposure. Deliver clear product demonstrations and presentations showing how the products’ modern security features can support strong protection strategies without relying on traditional tools. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with cybersecurity integrator companies engineering firms and technology partners to drive solutions and sales growth. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for potential customers integrators and channel partners by offering support and guidance throughout the sales and implementation processes. Develop new business by leveraging an existing professional network within the OT cybersecurity market. Strong understanding of industrial technologies such as PLCs SCADA systems HMIs RTUs and sensors with insight into how secure communication methods must adapt to device limitations protocol constraints and legacy system behaviors. JOB SUMMARY: This is a full-time sales role responsible for the full sales cycle including opportunity generation qualification coordination of resources required to sell completion of company sales processes contract negotiation and project follow-up. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline of qualified leads that are provided by customer inquiries are generated through conducting research on targeted accounts and market segments and through your network. Partner with customers to develop long-term relationships generate additional sales and guide problem resolution discussions. Develop monthly and weekly sales plans that include prospecting activities and forecasts. Sell to multiple levels of decision makers within mid-to-large companies at both technical and business levels. Participate in consultative pre-sale meetings to capture the customer's needs and vision. Create technical and commercial proposals based on the customer's specifications. Conduct technical presentations and proposal clarification meetings. Partner with internal technical resources as needed to develop systems and solutions to meet customer needs. Manage all aspects of quoting process (estimating design presentation acceptance implementation). Update CRM on a regular basis to track leads quotes and orders. Maintain accurate customer information. Manage contract negotiation with customers. Partner with engineering and operations departments for project handover implementation estimation and planning for the deployment at customers' sites. Support job implementation by attending planning meetings and reviewing designs. Maintain working knowledge of industry trends customers' expectations and the competition. Participate as a technical resource in workshops trade shows and other marketing events. Build and sustain customer relationships by responding quickly to emails answering phone calls and making customer visits in assigned area. Regular travel to visit with customers and prospects is expected. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree or at least five years of experience selling industrial capital equipment or as an engineer. Mechanical or Industrial Engineering background preferred. Experience solving complex problems with automation. Strong understanding of the application of material handling and engineered products. SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE JOB: Excellent interpersonal skills. Works well under pressure. Superior analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent at working on multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Well organized. High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite previous experience using CRM software and experience using CAD is helpful. Strong analytical and communication skills. Willingness to go the extra mile to complete the sale. Willingness to travel up to 50% MEASUREMENTS OF SUCCESS: Sales Dollars and GP Annual sales goal & GP Dollars will be established by Director Automation Sales. In compliance with pay transparency requirements the wage range for this role is $75000 - 115000 base salary. This position is eligible for commission. The rate range provided is a general guideline.
