Inside Sales Representative This is a varied role that involves qualifying inbound leads updating the CRM making follow-up calls conducting warm and cold outreach and providing general sales support. A key responsibility is to review and qualify inbound leads within 5–10 minutes during business hours with the rest of the time dedicated to other productive sales activities. Core Responsibilities Inbound Lead Qualification – Review and qualify leads in the Lead Management System and assign the correct status (Approved Declined Pending). Where more information is needed send follow-up emails via HubSpot using pre-prepared templates and follow up as required. Some leads will require phone follow-up if there is no reply to email. High-value leads such as large fleet or multi-unit opportunities will be flagged and passed to the Sales C Marketing Manager for direct qualification through a simple escalation process. Daily HubSpot Updates – Each morning update lead statuses from the previous day (Sold Declined etc.). Customer Follow-up – Call customers for feedback record all feedback in HubSpot and encourage Google Reviews where feedback is positive. Warm/Cool Outreach – Contact past leads (3+ years ago) and prepared lists. Commissions paid for self-generated leads. Call Handling – Answer routed incoming calls filter irrelevant ones and pass on relevant messages. Support Tasks – Research prospect lists monitor competitors keep HubSpot data clean. We appreciate the individuality of the people around us.  About the Role: Under the general direction of the Manager Inside Sales the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will work cooperatively with outside sales representatives and other members of the distribution team to grow existing customers create new customers and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction.   What You’ll Do: Generate new and repeat sales within the Strategic Accounts department by providing product and technical information in a timely manner. Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions. Recommend alternate products based on cost availability or specifications as needed. Present price credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers’ profitability profiles. Accurately process customer transactions including orders quotes or returns. Obtain information from vendors relating to shipment dates and the expected date of delivery to provide accurate information regarding product items. Increase sales and average order size through cross-selling up-selling add-on sales and offering promotional sale items. Educate customers about terminology features and benefits of products to improve sales and customer satisfaction related to products. Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed. Contact customers following sales delivery to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints. Remain current on consumer preferences changes in local codes and product developments by attending sales meetings vendor training and IT trade shows or reading IT trade journals. Set up and maintain customer files. Register sales opportunities with partners. Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction. Perform other duties as assigned.   Qualifications & Interests: Bachelor’s degree in finance or technical degree preferred. A minimum of three years of sales support or operations related experience. Strong interpersonal communication skills for interacting with employees vendors clients. Team player who is self-motivated shows initiative anticipates and prevents issues by executing advanced problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to quickly learn detailed information about products and services and clearly and effectively articulate Trace’s value to the customer while maximizing revenue and margin generation. Highly organized detail-oriented excellent time management skills and able to effectively. prioritize tasks in a fast-paced high-volume and evolving work environment. Comfortable meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment. Strong ability to operate independently. Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.). Familiarity with SLED procurement processes partner ecosystems and contract vehicles is highly preferred. Previous experience supporting technology VARs or manufacturers in an inside sales quoting or deal coordination role.  Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including location experience skill set performance licensure and certification and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
