Role Overview The Director of Internal Controls is a senior leadership role responsible for designing implementing and maintaining a robust internal controls framework across the organization. Key Responsibilities Internal Control Framework Design and implement a comprehensive internal controls framework aligned with COSO or equivalent standards. Develop and maintain an internal controls manual tailored to a non-profit mission-driven PRO operating under EPR regulations. Ensure internal controls are embedded into key operational processes including finance data reporting producer registration fee collection contracting and compliance monitoring. Our Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation and execution of Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) projects within the organization. Openly communicate regarding risks issues and realistic project status by providing transparent communication to the customer in a regular cadence. Establish new or leverage known quality standards for each team member and hold team members accountable to those standards. Partner with all stakeholders to ensure they are aware of the status of the project and on the same page with that assessment present PMR status monthly in addition to a Monthly Stakeholder review. Maintain action items using an AIR or other form of action tracking – owner date due impacted parties. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager. Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies including waterfall Agile and blended versions of the two as well as the ability to explain them to others. Demonstrated experience planning projects from start to finish Experience developing project plans schedules and/or project governance plans (PGPs) Background and demonstrated success with continuous improvement for both team processes and individual growth. Experience working in different types of Agile delivery including Scrum Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Experience setting up and leading meetings and events including project kickoff meetings discovery sessions Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews Retrospectives and periodic project status meetings. Experience creating and maintaining artifacts such as Project Governance Plan Project Schedule Risk Management plan RAID Log Action Item Registry (AIR) Status Reports Technical & Solution Design Documents Product Backlog Sprint Backlog and Program Increment. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED: Experience working with Federal agencies particularly the Department of Veterans Affairs is a plus. Experience with project management tools like Microsoft Project Jira Agile Accelerator Trello Azure DevOps (ADO) and Confluence. Basic technical knowledge of LCNC platforms such as Salesforce Pega Microsoft Dynamics 365 Microsoft Power Platform (MPP) Box or Appian. Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and mitigate conflicting priorities. Ability to lead discussions resolve conflicts and maintain clear communication among team members and stakeholders. Skills in identifying and removing impediments that block a team’s progress. Demonstrated comfort in dynamic and fast-paced work environments. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
