This role requires a strong analytical mindset and proficiency in various data technologies to transform raw data into actionable insights. The Business Intelligence Developer will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver high-quality reports and dashboards. Duties Design and implement data models ETL processes and data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence initiatives. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker ensuring they meet user requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Utilize big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark and Azure Data Lake for processing large datasets. Write complex SQL queries for data extraction transformation and analysis from Microsoft SQL Server Oracle and other databases. Implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration of BI solutions with other applications. Conduct model training and perform analytics to derive insights from data. Ensure database design follows best practices for performance and scalability. Participate in Agile development processes to deliver projects on time. Experience Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python for data manipulation and analysis. Experience with big data frameworks including Apache Hive Talend and Informatica is highly desirable. Familiarity with linked data concepts and analytics methodologies. Strong skills in database design shell scripting (Bash/Unix) VBA and SQL are essential. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights. You’ll turn raw data into trusted insights design scalable models build dashboards stakeholders love and automate workflows across our stack (Snowflake/ dbt/Sigma/Atlan) using Workato for ELT. Experience with iPaaS is important AI and Snowflake Cortex knowledge are a plus. In this role you will also be responsible to: Partner with GTM Product CS Finance and Ops to scope questions and deliver clear decision-ready insights. Write production-grade SQL build/maintain dbt models (staging → marts/gold) with tests and documentation. Build dashboards in Sigma Looker or Tableau with a focus on accuracy usability and performance. Operate in Snowflake and/or Redshift optimize queries costs and warehouse performance. Use Jupyter/Python for analysis notebooks and data prep when needed. Orchestrate integrations/automations in Workato (recipes connectors error handling alerting). Contribute to governance: documentation lineage data quality checks and role/row-level access patterns. (Nice to have) Explore Snowflake Cortex and GenAI techniques to accelerate analysis & self-service. Requirements Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills 2-5 years in data analytics/BI or analytics engineering in a modern cloud data stack. Expert SQL (window functions CTEs performance tuning) and solid Python for analysis/ETL. Hands-on with Snowflake or Redshift (ideally both) comfort with Databricks notebooks/jobs. Production experience with dbt (models tests docs exposures). Dashboarding in Sigma Looker or Tableau (at least one required more is better). Practical experience with Workato or another iPaaS building deploying and monitoring automations/integrations. ELT pipeline experience with Workato Fivetran Matillion or Informatica. Strong communication: translate business needs into data products write crisp PRDs and run readouts. Bonus Points Experience with Snowflake Cortex and/or applied GenAI/LLM use cases (prompting RAG agents). Data modeling (star/snowflake) orchestration CI/CD Git code review and observability best practices. Cost/FinOps mindset for warehouses storage and BI query efficiency.
