Job Description

The Financial Services Representative position is a full-time employment opportunity. The Financial Services Representative advises new and continuing students with the educational funding plan through their journey to graduation. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

Advise new and continuing students with their financial payment options to help fund their education. Assist students with the application process document collection disbursements and awards educate on both institutional and academic policies and guiding them until they reach graduation. Maintain a working knowledge of Federal State and Institutional Policies governing Title IV student aid programs. Communicate with students via phone email etc. to answer inquiries on educational funding questions and concerns in a timely manner. Review and ensure student accounts are accurate invoiced and future payments are on schedule. Contact students for past due balances and monitor payment plans. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve student inquiries. Knowledge

Excellent customer service skills. Attention to detail and strong mathematical skills. Must possess outstanding organizational and time management skills. Must be able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Proficient computer skills Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required. 1 year of relevant work experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

One

  • year of experience in an educational setting finance contact center or other applicable customer service role.
